VCHRI encompasses three research-intensive institutes—Vancouver General Hospital, UBC Hospital and GF Strong Rehabilitation Centre—as well as Richmond Hospital, Lions Gate Hospital and various public health agencies in Vancouver and across Vancouver Coastal Health.
VCHRI is home to nationally and internationally renowned research centres and programs. It has over 900 principal investigators, graduate and post-graduate trainees and over 350,000 square feet of research space.
