Mental health and substance use supported housing services provide supportive residential care homes staffed by nurses and mental health workers for clients who have a severe and persistent mental illness.
ਕੀ ਉਮੀਦ ਰੱਖਣੀ ਹੈ
Mental Health and Substance Use Supported Housing (MHSUSH) assess and refer eligible people to mental health-funded housing. MHSUSH will assist homeless and precariously housed individuals with mental health, substance use, and behavioural issues to identify supported housing that meet their care needs.
Each placement considers the client’s diagnosis and support needs, as well as the overall cultural milieu of the prospective building/environment. Mental Health and Substance Use Supported Housing can also assist a person's transitions inside and support them in mitigating evictions.
