Medical mask policy in effect during respiratory illness season
Masks are currently required in all patient care areas of hospitals, long-term care facilities and community health-care sites and clinics. Please do not enter these facilities if you have cold or flu-like symptoms, such as runny nose, sore throat, fever, cough, shortness of breath/trouble breathing, diarrhea or vomiting. Do not enter these facilities if you feel unwell, no matter how mild the symptoms.
Visitors to long-term care and seniors’ assisting living facilities need to wear a medical mask in common areas and when participating in indoor events in common areas.

The Deaf, Hard of Hearing & Deaf-Blind Well-Being Program (WBP) provides mental health services for Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and Deaf-Blind people throughout British Columbia.
How to access

Check eligibility
The WBP services individuals, couples, children, youth, and families. The eligibility will be screened at intake appointments.

Referrals for children and youth
Children and youth can be referred to the WBP in several ways:
- Self-referral
- Parent/family referral
- Community agency (with consent from parents and child/youth)
- School or Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (with consent from parents and child/youth)

How to get there
Skytrain: The nearest skytrain station is Patterson Skytrain Station. It’s a 5 minutes walk on Olive Avenue from the station to the office.
Bus: Bus #19 – stops are close to the building.
Parking: We have a pay parking lot at the building (enter from Kingsway). There are some free parking across the street on Olive Avenue, Patterson Street, Halley Avenue and Sardis Street.
