VDC is a voluntary program, and it is licensed. VDC has nurses on 24 hours to help clients come off alcohol and other substances. VDC also helps clients to get on opiate replacement medications. Clients stay at VDC for about 5 days and are discharged once they no longer need 24 hour care.
