Solid building that is bright and cheerful, open large dining/lounge area on main floor lends itself to programming for all areas of the campus.

Haro Park Centre is a diverse community catering to the needs of all religions, cultures and beliefs.

Accreditation status

Accreditation is an external peer review process to assess and improve the services health care organizations provide to their residents, based on standards of excellence set by Accreditation Canada or by CARF.

Philosophy of care

Our philosophy has evolved from Eden to a person-centered approach, which focuses on value and meaning for elders and staff.

Type of accommodation

154 complex care rooms, all single rooms, most with shared bathrooms.


Residents pay 80% of their after tax income which covers the cost of food and accommodation. Minimum and maximum rates apply. There may be other costs not included in the resident contribution. Visit our Costs page for more information.

Special recreation opportunities

Vibrant music therapy, art therapy, recreation therapy, and horticulture programming, with regular bus outings, and seasonal activities.

Motorized scooter policy

No scooters allowed in dining room.

Pet policy

Individuals are assessed for their ability to care for their pet and back up plans.

Smoking allowed in designated area outside.
