Leadership development to support your ability to transform health care

VCH supports our leaders and aspiring leaders in reaching their full potential to cultivate a values-based culture that will create the conditions necessary to transform health care.

Our leadership development team offers individual and team coaching, cohort programs as well as a variety of workshops to help our people develop knowledge, deepen their leadership skills and build the confidence needed to lead through complexity and change.

For employees and medical staff, we offer a series of online workshops to learn practical skills to help navigate and influence change, build and maintain positive working relationships, and become a more effective communicator.

For frontline leaders or those that are transitioning into a leadership role, we offer a cohort Frontline Leadership Certificate Program to learn critical fundamentals of leadership to identify and manage conflict in the workplace, provide skillful feedback, and develop and enhance relationships to empower teamwork.

VCH understands the important role leaders play in connecting with the hearts and minds of our workforce to improve client services and provide exceptional patient care. We believe that learning is a critical factor of performance and motivation at work, and investing in our leaders’ development helps to make VCH a great place to work.
