<div class="ExternalClass596373AC166A4BC9A2A28490303127D9">The Carlile Youth Concurrent Disorders Centre supports youth 13 – 18 years of age from the Vancouver Coastal Health region experiencing combined mental health and problematic substance use concerns.  </div><div class="ExternalClass596373AC166A4BC9A2A28490303127D9"><br></div><div class="ExternalClass596373AC166A4BC9A2A28490303127D9">Clients will have severe functional impairment in 2 or more of the following:<ul><li>School/work, social relationships,<br></li><li>Housing, or self-care.<br></li><li>Requires a comprehensive assessment and treatment initiation in a secure setting <br></li><li>Community resources exhausted and/or unable to manage in the community <br></li><li>Identified community case manager as per local determination<br></li></ul></div><div class="ExternalClass596373AC166A4BC9A2A28490303127D9"><br>We focus on helping youth as they manage their substance use and mental health concerns by providing: <br></div><div class="ExternalClass596373AC166A4BC9A2A28490303127D9"><ul><li>A holistic approach to health from a multidisciplinary team<br></li><li>Diagnostic clarification and medication management<br></li><li>Medically managed detox<br></li><li>A safe and welcoming environment<br></li><li>Ways to build coping skills<br></li><li>Opportunities to create positive connections and skills through a range of therapeutic approaches<br></li><li>Connection with support systems (families, friends, community etc.)  </li><li>Discharge planning to provide sustainable support for youth<br></li></ul></div>1337 St Andrews Avenue3rd floor (604) 984-3793(604) 984-5004V7L 3L4BC<div class="ExternalClass802FFBC8C3A845CF89B50C669693BF20"><p>Paid parking is available underground at the HOpe Centre.
