The home oxygen program provides equipment set up, education and ongoing service for people who need oxygen in the home.

Oxygen is used to help people when their blood is not able to get enough oxygen from breathing only air. There are many diseases that can cause this problem, such as chronic bronchitis, emphysema, pulmonary fibrosis and lung cancer.

How to access

  • Check eligibility

    There are some basic tests that are required for approval that will be administered by your physician or health care provider.   

  • Get a referral

    A physician referral is required.

Parking & Transportation

This site can be accessed by public transit on Oak Street or Cambie Street. Free parking is available at 780 West 57th Avenue.

George Pearson Centre

Built in 1952, George Pearson Centre is located in a 7.7 hectare park-like setting. Resident amenities are ground floor, with the exception of the Stan Strong pool, which has an elevator to access.
