Provides assessment and treatment for older adults with serious mental illness complicated by complex medical issues or dementia with behavioural and psychological symptoms, including clients under 65 with early-onset dementia.

Richmond residents aged 65 and older or under 65 with early onset dementia.

Get a referral
The Richmond Older Adult Mental Health Team requires a completed Richmond MHSU referral form from a physician or nurse practitioner.

This program also provides multidisciplinary assessment and treatment for older adults who have diminishing cognitive function or complex psychiatric and medical needs. Family support and education is also provided.
Services include
- case management,
- outreach and
- rehabilitation services.
Care is coordinated with primary care physicians, elder care facilities and other community programs. Services are provided on an outreach basis, in the community.
