The Richmond Mental Health Consumer and Friends’ Society (RCFC) is a self-governing peer-run mental health organization.
The RCFC provides peer support and a full calendar of diverse activities to all adult mental health consumers living in Richmond, B.C.

Check eligibility
To be eligible to take part in our services and programs, you must be:
- aged 19 and over,
- living with mental illness,
- living in the community of Richmond,
- and referred by a mental health professional or doctor,

Self-referral is accepted. Download and fill out the application form of the program you want to join.

Society membership
Full Membership Status
- Free to join
- Open to all mental health consumers living in Richmond, BC.
- Entitles member to vote on all RCFC business at all RCFC Members Meetings.
- Can attend RCFC Society Members' activities, Open Members Meetings, and all special events.
Associate Membership Status
- If possible, by donation.
- Available for anybody who does not meet the criteria for Full Membership.
- Entitles members to vote on RCFC business dealt with at the Annual General Meetings and Extraordinary Meetings only.
- Can attend Open Members Meetings and all special events.
Hours of operation
- Monday: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Tuesday: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Wednesday: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Thursday: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Friday: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Saturday: Closed
- Sunday: Closed
Evening nursing service is available until 9 p.m.
