A phone line providing access to withdrawal management (detox). Adults who live in the VCH region and seek withdrawal-management services receive immediate screening by health-care workers. The health-care provider will set up intakes with the program that suits a client's needs. Access also provides general information about substance-use resources and Addiction Recovery Housing Program referrals.

What to expect

You will speak with a health-care worker who will screen and collect information about your goals, demographics, substance-use history and other related information. After the screen is completed, the worker will direct you to the service that suits your needs and goals.

Access staff will also provide information about services for adult men and women dealing with addiction issues. People inquiring about Addiction Recovery Housing Program will be transferred to the program.
