Pacemaker Follow-Up Clinics
Pacemaker follow-up clinics provide follow-up treatment and assessment for patients with pacemakers, Implanted Cardiac Defibrillators (ICD), Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy (CRT) devices and loop recorders.
What to expect
Clinic visits are to optimize device performance settings and longevity as well as to detect and correct any device malfunctions. Event Monitor services are also provided.
Event Monitor testing allows a patient to activate a recorder that measures the heart's electrical activity when they feel a specific symptom they have reported to their physician.
