General Public Health

Whether you're pregnant or already a parent and want support, you have a number of options available to you. You can:

Hearing

If your baby isn't showing signs that they're hearing things, you should get professional audiology help.

Speech 

There are a variety of ways to help your young child communicate but, if you need professional help, there are speech and language resources available.

 

Health Care Providers – Helping your patient

As a health care provider, you have a number of VCH options available to you for arranging assistance from VCH health professionals for your patient(s) including:

North Shore (North & West Vancouver) 

Powell River

  • Public Health Prenatal, Postpartum and Early Childhood Referral Form Patients referred through this process will be contacted by a Public Health Nurse (PHN) who may provide direct nursing services or refer on to appropriate community resources. We ask that you have a discussion with the client or parent/guardian prior to making this referral.

Richmond

Sea to Sky

  • Public Health Prenatal, Postpartum and Early Childhood Referral Form Patients referred through this process will be contacted by a Public Health Nurse (PHN) who may provide direct nursing services or refer on to appropriate community resources. We ask that you have a discussion with the client or parent/guardian prior to making this referral.

Sunshine Coast
