Philosophy of care

The German Canadian Care Home provides care services to residents requiring complex care and special care. Care services include 24-hour professional nursing care, recreation and music therapy programs, rehabilitation services, food, housekeeping and laundry services. Our mission is to provide quality care for the aging.

Type of accommodation

Total of 134 beds, including 132 funded long-term beds and 2 privately funded beds. There are 76 private rooms and 29 semi-private rooms shared by two residents. Each room has a toilet and a sink.

Cost

Residents pay 80% of their after tax income which covers the cost of food and accommodation. Minimum and maximum rates apply. There may be other costs not included in the resident contribution. For more information on costs, please refer to the Information on Residential Care Guide.
