Mennonite faith based care home – Member of Denominational Health Association. English is the primary language spoken although; many staff speak other languages.
Accreditation is an external peer review process to assess and improve the services health care organizations provide to their residents, based on standards of excellence set by Accreditation Canada or by CARF.

There are 76 Complex Care beds situated on two floors. The second floor includes an 18 bed Special Care Unit. All rooms are single occupancy, fully furnished, have their own two piece bathroom, and call bell system. Most rooms have ceiling lifts installed. Situated throughout the building are small sitting areas where residents and visitors can gather. There is a lounge and dining room on each floor.
Residents pay 80% of their after tax income which covers the cost of food and accommodation. Minimum and maximum rates apply. There may be other costs not included in the resident contribution. Visit our Costs page for more information.
Music therapy, hand chime choir, art therapy, and intergenerational programming. Care home bus used for scenic drives and special outings. One to one visitation of residents, cultural specific programming, spiritual care programs
The care home is wheelchair accessible.
Assessed individually. Space only available for 2 motorized scooters to be plugged in. Limited space in rooms for a motorized scooted.
Pet policy is in effect. Care home has a cat and birds, Visiting pets allowed. No resident can have a pet living in his or her room.
No Smoking allowed in the care home or on Pinegrove Place property.
Doors are locked at all times. A code is necessary to enter front door. Camera monitors the front door. Wandergard system in place.
Located in a residential neighbourhood. Albert Airey Park adjacent to property. Weekly church services from local Churches. Volunteers from Cambie High School. Intergenerational programs with local elementary school. Bus route and small shopping plaza close by.
Limited rooms for extended care. Not able to handle bariatric residents.
