While available to everyone, these tools are internally-facing with the topics intended to be of greatest use to our employees and physicians. Webmail access VCH webmail, where staff can log into thier VCH email accounts from computers outside of the VCH network. VCH News VCH News, where staff can find out what's happening across VCH. Posting and commenting is reserved for those with a valid VCH email address Staff tools from Employee Engagement VCH provides our staff access to tools to help them manage their careers. Absence call line All VCH employees must call 604.639.4297 or (toll free) 1.866.924.4297 to report an absence from work. If you are absent for health-related reasons, select “1” when prompted. NEW: You can also report a planned absence (ie. surgery) the day before your scheduled health-related absence and select “1” when prompted. If you are absent for reasons not related to your health (i.e., compassionate leave), select “2” when prompted. Please have your employee identification number ready when you call. Course Catalogue Registration System (CCRS) Use the Course Catalogue Registration System (CCRS) to sign up for staff education sessions. Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP) The Employee & Family Assistance Program (EFAP) is an off-site, confidential, voluntary, short-term counselling service for staff.
