Children and youth

To access child and youth mental health services in Vancouver, call 604-675-3895.

Community-based services for mental health and substance use are defined as care provided outside of the hospital setting. This includes a wide range of mental health and substance use treatment, activities, and resources, again outside of the hospital setting.

 

‎Community Based SU Services: All of our programs and services provide support for both mental health and substance use issues. However, there are specific substance use services and options in Vancouver for Children and Youth as well.

Vancouver often connects with more specific and specialized youth based hospital services to ensure best and most appropriate care.

Our tertiary programs provide assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation services for individuals with serious and persistent mental illness who have not been successfully treated by community and hospital programs. These services are offered in specialized settings and offer a longer length of stay than hospitals.

Adult and older adult

To connect with Vancouver Adult MHSU Services contact AAC. Anyone 17+ can call 604-675 3700 to connect with a clinician at the Access and Assessment Center. This is our access point to adult MHSU services in Vancouver. You can also look through the program listings below to learn more.
