We're lucky to live in a time where technology can be used for a variety of different tasks—including a visit with your health care team.

Vancouver Coastal Health is committed to increasing the number of virtual health care visits in our region. To help facilitate this, we've put together some resources below to help support you in your next virtual visit.

A helpdesk is available to patients needing support connecting to their virtual health visit. Please call 1-844-442-4433 (Toll-free) for technical support (Monday-Friday, 7 am – 5 pm). 

Video conferencing via ZOOM

Have you received an invitation from your health care provider regarding a virtual visit via ZOOM—our video conferencing solution? Please see information below on how to get started:

  1. Information about your appointment. If your visit has been identified by your clinician as appropriate for a virtual visit, you'll receive an email from your healthcare provider with next steps.

  2. Get ready to go live. Download the ZOOM app to your mobile device or desktop computer and test your connection. Once your appointment has been confirmed, you'll receive a second email from your healthcare provider with a link to join the ZOOM meeting.
