Tour requests
Some Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) facilities can accommodate informational tours for clinical research or other health care learning purposes.
Requirements for site tours
- Tours are conducted in English, so please provide your own translators if you require one.
- All tour visitors must be at least 18 years of age.
- Please do not visit us if you are sick or have been sick within the last week. We appreciate as much notice as possible if you need to cancel your tour due to illness.
Tours of Vancouver Acute sites
Vancouver Acute sites, including VGH, GF Strong and UBC Hospital, welcome tour requests from academic, research and related study programs. Unfortunately, we can't accommodate all requests.

Tours of other VCH sites
Insite, which opened in 2003, is North America's first, legal supervised drug consumption site. While we facilitate tour requests from academic, research and related study programs, we can't accommodate all requests. All tours of Insite are done prior to opening when clients are not present.
