Open Board Forum

Every year, Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) holds Open Board Forums to provide an opportunity for community members across three communities of care (Richmond, Vancouver, North Shore/Coastal and Sea to Sky) to hear directly from and engage with the organization’s Board of Directors.

The next Open Board Forum is a telephone town hall on health-care topics relevant to the community of Vancouver. When engaging densely populated areas within VCH, we host a series of smaller events to reach residents more effectively in each community.
Due to the size of the City of Vancouver, this telephone town hall will focus on residents living in the neighbourhoods of Arbutus Ridge, South Cambie, Dunbar-Southlands, Kerrisdale, Kitsilano, Marpole, Shaughnessy and West Point Grey. All Vancouver community members are welcome to join, and additional communities will be the focus of future events.

The Open Board Forum will be held on October 18, 2023, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. You can register and learn more here.

During this live telephone event, the VCH Board of Directors and senior leaders will discuss health services and programs, and share health care updates related to public health, primary care, long-term care, home health and home supports, and mental health services and supports.

Participants will also be able to ask questions directly to the VCH Board of Directors and senior leadership.

The last Open Board Forum was focused on Indigenous health and was held on June 28, 2023 in Bella Bella. To access a recording of that or any previous Open Board Forum, please refer to the links below under past presentations.
