Dr. Jennifer Beaveridge
Dr. Jennifer Beaveridge is a Nurse Practitioner, one of the two chairs of HAMAC, and the Executive Director of Nurse Practitioners.
Biography
Jennifer is a Nurse Practitioner (NP) and one of the two chairs of HAMAC, as well as the Executive Director of NPs.
Jennifer has a primary care practice with a focus on vulnerable complex patients in primary care for the past 17 years with special interests in mental health, substance use, gender-affirming care, and addressing health and social inequities. Jennifer brings the community and urban practice lens to HAMAC. She is passionate about quality care, and has been involved in numerous quality initiatives within VCH.
She participated in the inaugural NP master's degree program, graduating in 2005. In 2019, she achieved her Doctor of Nursing Science with a dual focus on opioid use disorder, as well as health-care system leadership.
She is also the current chair of the Provincial Health Authority NP Leadership Council.
