The Downtown Eastside Youth Outreach Team (YOT) located on 786 Powell Street. It is a multi-disciplinary team that provides outreach and temporary clinical and support services with the goal of engaging hard-to-reach youth, establishing rapport, trust and bridging youth to longer term services.

Check eligibility
The target population are vulnerable and hard-to-reach youth between the ages of 15 to 24 who are:
- Homeless and/or unstably housed;
- Have complex mental health and/ or substance use and/or complex physical health needs;
- Are not accessing services elsewhere and/or who are not well connected to care.

Get a referral
Referrals will be going through the DTES Youth Outreach Team office by completing the DTES Youth Outreach intake form and emailing it to dtesyouthoutreach@vch.ca.

Hours of operation
- Monday: 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- Tuesday: 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- Wednesday: 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- Thursday: 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- Saturday: Closed
- Sunday: Closed
Closed on weekends and statutory holidays.
