How to get here
Come through the main entrance, check in with admitting and then walk along the main corridor, past the gift shop to the elevators. Turn left from the elevator (towards the wall with the stars). When at the star wall, turn right through the door and down the corridor to the labour & delivery unit desk.
Labour and birthing rooms
All labour rooms are private and very similar. There is a cupboard for your belongings, the chair opens out as a bed for partners to use (there is a similar one in your post-partum room) you can dim the lights, play music, and open the windows. Take an impression of this room now and imagine yourself using this space when you are in labour. The bed is completely adjustable, it adjusts to a perfect height to lean on when sitting on a ball or it rises up to waist height to rest on while standing and swaying. The bed also converts into a chair shape.
