The Overdose Outreach Team connects people who have recently experienced an opioid overdose and/or who are at high risk for opioid overdose to support.

The clients engaged in the program are provided with short-term case management services which include connection to appropriate harm reduction services (i.e. OAT, Outpatient Counselling and Group Programming, harm reduction supplies) or abstinence-based programming (detox, residential treatment).

In addition, the OOT team provides Naloxone training to the community, distributes harm reduction supplies, outreaches to areas where vulnerable populations may be and provides community prevention education.
