The Rapid Access Spine Triage Program identifies and triages patients who need to see a surgeon, and provides referring physicians and patients with evidence-based directions for care when a surgical consultation is not appropriate.

How to access

  • Check eligibility

    ​The Rapid Access Spine Triage Program is for patients with non-emergent spinal complaints involving the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine. Emergent cases will continue to be referred to the spine surgeon on-call. 

  • Get a referral

    A referral is required.  Have your care provider complete the Blussion Spinal Cord Centre referral form and fax the completed form to (604) 875-5858.

We operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

Visiting hours may vary depending on the unit. Please call the Vancouver General Hospital switchboard at (604) 875-4111 to determine visiting times before your visit.

How to get here

We are located in the Brenda and David McLean Integrated Spine Clinic on the 2nd floor of the Blusson Spinal Cord Centre on 10th Avenue.

Parking is available in the VGH Courtyard 24/7 for people with disabilities only.
