Long-term care provides professional care and supervision to adults in a supportive and secure environment. The services are available to people with complex care needs or conditions who cannot live safely and independently at home.

If you or someone you know is interested in receiving home and community care services, call the access line contact information in your area.
When you connect with the home and community care office, a Home Health clinician will help you determine eligibility and if appropriate, arrange to conduct a health needs assessment.

Features
The German-Canadian Care Home is a subsidized 129-bed complex care home operated by the German-Canadian Benevolent Society of British Columbia. There are single rooms with a private washroom and double rooms with a shared washroom. Rooms are furnished with a bed and a night table, and residents may bring some furniture upon request. New residents are generally admitted to a double room until a single room becomes available.
