Smoke scattered throughout the mountainside

Our Acute Home Based Treatment (AHBT) service offers short-term, mental health and/or substance use treatment for clients 17 years of age and over living in Richmond. Services are offered in home settings. This includes at-home mobile detox services.  This service is for people experiencing an increase in symptoms or distress related to mental illness or substance use. The AHBT team will visit your home to discuss your symptoms and prescribe and monitor medications as required. The number and length of visits will depend on your care plan.  If you already have a psychiatrist, the team doctor will collaborate with him or her to coordinate your treatment. When you are feeling better, you can return to the services in your community that meet your needs.
