Activity rooms, TV lounges, hair salon, tuck shop, and dining rooms on each floor. The reception area is on the main floor and there are 2 secure outdoor areas for residents and visitors to use.

The resident population is multicultural and a variety of languages are spoken by residents and employees. Several religious services are held on a regular basis.

Accreditation is an external peer review process to assess and improve the services health care organizations provide to their residents, based on standards of excellence set by Accreditation Canada or by CARF.
Philosophy of care
Residential care in Richmond is approached through the philosophy of “resident-centered care”, the goal of which is to provide high quality care by involving residents, their families and the interdisciplinary team in care planning and service delivery. A resident centered care model takes into account the individual needs and preferences of residents from a holistic perspective, including social, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural and physical considerations.

A total of 71 rooms distributed over 3 floors. 22 private rooms with ensuite bathrooms on 1st floor, 25 SCU private rooms with ensuite bathrooms on 2nd floor, and on the 3rd floor 22 double rooms with shared bathrooms, 1 single room and 1 respite room with ensuite bathrooms.
Cost
Residents pay 80% of their after tax income which covers the cost of food and accommodation. Minimum and maximum rates apply. There may be other costs not included in the resident contribution. Visit our Costs page for more information.
Special recreation opportunities
Scheduled recreational programs are offered 6 days a week such as fitness activities, art, music programs, bus outings, various games, etc.

Safety & security features
Wanderguard System for residents and cameras in both elevators, front door, exterior of building and parkade. Front door access is only via authorized access cards or doorbell/camera system operated by staff.

Richmond Lions Manor Bridgeport is located at Bridgeport Rd and Great Canadian Way. Bridgeport Skytrain station is a 5 minute walk and there are bus stops directly adjacent to the building.
