Cardiac Rehabilitation
Cardiac rehabilitation and risk-factor reduction programs provide medical therapy and lifestyle optimization workshops for people who have had a recent heart attack, angina, coronary angioplasty or open heart surgery and those at risk of developing heart disease.
What to expect
Programs can offer regular case manager support, supervised exercise classes, education sessions on heart disease, healthy living, exercise, and nutrition and consultation with Dietitians, Psychiatrists and Counsellors.
