HIV clinics provide medical services to individuals living with or at risk of infection from HIV.
What to expect
Clinic services include:
- dental treatment
- social worker services
- analysis of patient response to drugs
- analysis of viral and CD4 count
- nutrition counselling
- needle exchange
- peer education and support primary care treatment
- maximally assisted therapy (MAT)
