Intake teams are the first people you can talk to if you need non-emergency help with mental health and/or substance use and you live or stay in the Vancouver Coastal Health area. Services are available for children, adults and older adults.

What intake teams do

Contact your local Vancouver Coastal Health mental health and substance use intake team to get connected to appropriate services or resources. Teams are available for children, youth, adults and older adults across the region.

You can contact many intake teams by phone. Some clinics also have drop-in hours. Families, caregivers and health-care providers can also contact intake teams for support. Hours and locations may vary.
