Intensive Rehabilitation Day Program (IRDP) provides an alternative to inpatient care for individuals with newly diagnosed neurological or musculoskeletal impairments who require intensive interdisciplinary rehabilitation.
What to expect
This short-term intensive program varies in length to a maximum of 6 weeks. It is an interdisciplinary program where you will work with a variety of rehab professionals as well as a physiatrist (physical medicine doctor).
For this program, you must be independent or bring someone to assist with personal care and transfers. This program is for Vancouver Coastal Health residents. We also accept clients from the Yukon.

Hours of operation
- Monday: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Tuesday: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Wednesday: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Thursday: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Saturday: Closed
- Sunday: Closed
