Older adult assessment and treatment services provide 24-hour in-depth, assessment and treatment for older adults experiencing acute symptoms and complex behaviours who require a secure, specialized treatment environment.

What to expect

Program goals for people and their families are grouped in four broad areas:

  1. mental health,
  2. physical wellness,
  3. living life to the fullest, and
  4. transitions in life and care.

Stays within this program are generally three months in length, based on individual needs.
