The Orthopaedics Trauma Clinic provides follow-up from emergency to patients with torn ligaments or acute fractures of the extremities, pelvis and shoulders (excluding the hands).
What to expect
The Orthopaedics Trauma Clinic houses a multidisciplinary team of staff, including orthopedic surgeons, orthopedic residents, nurses, admitting clerks and physiotherapists.
Patients are first seen in the emergency department, where the orthopedic resident assesses them before being seen in the clinic.
