Rules and Regulations - BC SPEAK Survey Contest

• The contest starts at 0900 PST on April 25, 2023 and ends no earlier than 23:59 PST on July 31, 2023, or in accordance with the end date of the BC SPEAK Survey.

• All residents within the geographic region of Vancouver Coastal Health who participate in the BC SPEAK Survey are eligible to enter.
• To participate in the survey, participants must be at least 18, however only those aged 19 and older may enter the draw. To enter the draw, participants must also provide an email address they can be reached at.

• Complete the BC SPEAK Survey and enter a valid email on the final page to be entered into a giveaway draw (valued at $25.00 CAD to $370.00 CAD).
• Participants can only complete the survey and enter the contest once.

• To ensure winners in all regions, prizes will be awarded in each of the following VCH sub-regions: Vancouver, Richmond, the North Shore (North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Bowen Island), Coast Garibaldi (Sunshine Coast, Powell River, Howe Sound, Bella Coola Valley, Central Coast).
• Participants will be selected by random draw from eligible participants in each sub-region after the survey has closed, no earlier than 23:59 PST on July 31, 2023. A maximum of 26 prizes valued at $25.00 CAD to $370.00 CAD will be awarded.
• The potential winners will be contacted by email.
• Prizes will be distributed to the winners by VCH Public Health by a method agreed upon by the winner no later than two weeks after the close of the survey.

• The prizes will consist of 22 gift cards to Best Buy, Save On Foods, London Drugs, Apple iTunes, valued at $25.00 CAD to $250.00 CAD; and four Apple Air Pods Pro (2nd generation) value at $330 + tax.
• Chances of winning depend on the number of eligible participants.

By entering this contest, each participant gives VCH permission to use their personal information (email address) for the purpose of administering this contest, namely for contacting the winner. All personal information will be collected by the British Columbia Center for Disease Control (“BCCDC”), a part of the Provincial Health Authority. This will be done pursuant to sections 26 (c) and (e) of the B.C. Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act ("FIPPA").

This contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or affiliated with Instagram or Twitter or Facebook (or any other Social Media platform used to promote the contest), and Instagram and/or Twitter and/or Facebook (or any other Social Media platform used to promote the contest) are released of any liability by each participant arising out of or in connection with this contest.
