Ang pag-aalala o pagiging nerbiyos ay normal na bahagi ng pang-araw-araw na buhay. Ang lahat ay nakakaramdam ng anxiety sa pana-panahon. Ang banayad o bahagyang anxiety ay makakatulong sa iyo na mag-focus ng iyong atensyon, enerhiya, at motibasyon. Kung grabe ang anxiety, maaaring isipin mo na ikaw ay helpless, maaaring ikaw ay nalilito, at ang iyong labis na pag-aalala ay hindi naman katumbas ng kinatatakutang pangyayari, o sa bagay na maaaring hindi naman mangyayari.
