We work with individuals at various stages in the recovery process in collaboration with their primary care providers.</p><p>Our services are free of charge and treatment options include:</p><ul><li>Group work</li><li>Family and friends support group</li><li>Individual/family therapy, and outreach</li><li>Nutritional</li><li>Specialized medical and psychiatric support</li><li>Recreation therapy</li></ul><p>Our team includes:</p><ul><li>Recreation therapist</li><li>Therapists</li><li>Eating Disorders counsellors</li><li>Dietitian</li><li>Nurse</li><li>Family therapist</li><li>Physicians</li><li>Psychiatrist</li></ul><p>Consultation and education are also available to community agencies and professionals to promote awareness and early intervention.</p><p>As part of a larger continuum of care, the program liaises with the Eating Disorders Programs at BC Children's Hospital, St. Paul’s Hospital and the Looking Glass Residence should clients require more intensive support.</p></div>333-2750 East Hastings Street (604) 675-2531V5K 1Z9BC49.2810148,-123.04813739999997<div class="ExternalClassCDF1A8C84A324FF4BDC33664CC38411A"><p>​<a href="/_layouts/15/DocIdRedir.aspx?ID=VCHCA-1797567310-775" target="_blank"><img class="ms-asset-icon ms-rtePosition-4" src="/_layouts/images/icpdf.png" alt="" />VCH Eating Disorders Program - Client referral form</a><br></p><div><p>As part of the referral process, ADULT clients are required to attend an Information Session. Children and Youth clients do not need to attend.<br></p><h2>Information sessions<br></h2><p><strong>Date</strong>: 2nd and 4th Wednesday every month. No need to register.<br></p><p><strong>Time</strong>: 5-6 p.m. <br></p><p><strong>Location</strong>: Vancouver Coastal Health Eating Disorders Program<br>#333 2750 E. Hastings St. Vancouver BC V5K 1Z9<br>(Located one block west of the PNE, between Slocan St. and Kaslo St.)<br></p></div></div><div class="ExternalClass1B56C0687FD24B808DE8E4D88F6FCA88"><p>​This service is available for children, youth, and adults living in Vancouver, as well as adults living on the North Shore, Sea to Sky, Sunshine Coast or Bowen Island. We also offer Telehealth support to clinicians, primary care providers and mental health clients in Coastal rural areas.</p><p>Children and youth living on the North Shore can access the <a href="http://www.vch.ca/locations-services/result?res_id=286">North Shore Youth Eating Disorders Program</a>.<br></p></div>
