Accreditation status

Accreditation is an external peer review process to assess and improve the services health care organizations provide to their residents, based on standards of excellence set by Accreditation Canada or by CARF.

Philosophy of care

To be leaders in the provision of health care to the Jewish elderly, meeting standards of excellence in service, clinical practice, education and research.

Type of accommodation

Total of 215 long-term beds. 149 private rooms and 33 semi-private rooms. 


Residents pay 80% of their after tax income which covers the cost of food and accommodation. Minimum and maximum rates apply. There may be other costs not included in the resident contribution. Visit our Costs page for more information.

25 seater bus for day and evening outings and full activity calendar.

Care home-specific restrictions

Kosher food restrictions: As a kosher residence residents and families cannot consume non-kosher foods in any public spaces or dining rooms; non-kosher foods are allowed only in residents’ own rooms.
