Salvation Army Rotary Hospice House is funded by Vancouver Coastal Health and is located in Richmond, B.C. Hospice care helps people who are very sick in the final stages of life, focusing on comfort and quality of life. Hospice teams also support spiritual, cultural, and emotional needs in a setting that feels calm and homelike.

How to access

Ask your primary care team if you have any questions whether hospice would be an appropriate care setting for you during the last few months of your life.

If you are interested in hospice, let your primary care team know and they can help support you to complete the paperwork. The Richmond hospice triage team will process the paperwork and if you are eligible, they will collaborate with your primary care team to arrange for your hospice transfer, once a bed is available.
