Salvation Army Rotary Hospice House has ten private rooms, each equipped with a full washroom. Each room opens to its own patio, overlooking a garden, pond and walking paths. Several common areas are available, including the dining area, living room and a quiet room.

Accommodations

Each patient room will have a private room that is equipped with a full washroom and opens to its own patio overlooking a garden area. Each room is fully furnished with a bed, side table, and lounge chairs for your loved ones. There is also a television, telephone, and internet access.

A number of common areas are available to all patients and their loved ones, which includes a dining area, living room, and quiet room.

Food options

Nutritious meals are prepared on site and the hospice team is available to listen to your requests. In the dining room area, there is a coffee maker, small fridge, and microwave for the use of you and your family. A dietitian is available to provide nutritional information and support related to dietary needs.

Pets

Pets are welcome, if controlled/leashed as required. Please notify the nurses prior to their visit.

Smoking and alcohol policy

The hospice is a smoke-free facility. A designated smoking area is provided for residents only in the backyard.

Residents may enjoy alcoholic beverages for social purposes in moderation, with physician’s approval. All alcoholic beverages will be stored and dispensed at the nurses’ station.
