Meals on Wheels
Meals on wheels delivers nourishing meals to homebound people, including seniors, caregivers, individuals with chronic or acute medical conditions, or individuals recovering from surgery, illness or injury.
What to expect
Volunteers deliver hot and nourishing meals and social contact to homebound people, including seniors, caregivers, individuals with chronic or acute medical conditions, individuals recovering from surgery, illness or injury, and new mothers.
In addition to providing a friendly visit, volunteers also offer an informal check on the safety of meal recipients by alerting the authorities if they spot a concern for someone's well-being.
