Kits Beach & Kits Point now safe for swimming

03/08/2018

The latest water sampling shows that bacteria levels at Kits Beach and Kits Point have dropped to within the safety threshold. It is now safe again for people to swim or wade at these beaches. Yesterday, Sunset Beach, Whytecliff, Ambleside and Sandy Cove in West Vancouver were also reopened for swimming.

The only Vancouver area beach that remains closed to swimming is Trout Lake.
