Long-term care provides professional care and supervision to adults in a supportive and secure environment. The services are available to people with complex care needs or conditions who cannot live safely and independently at home.

When you connect with the home and community care office, a Home Health clinician will help you determine eligibility and if appropriate, arrange to conduct a health needs assessment.

Since 1978, Villa Cathay Care Home has been a non-profit long-term care residence in Vancouver’s Strathcona neighbourhood. The home provides 168 subsidized long-term care beds.
