Downtown Eastside Youth Outreach Team (YOT)
The Downtown Eastside Youth Outreach Team (YOT) located on 786 Powell Street. It is a multi-disciplinary team that provides outreach and temporary clinical and support services with the goal of engaging hard-to-reach youth, establishing rapport, trust and bridging youth to longer term services.
What to expect
Services offered in the program are case management, access to primary care, cultural and spiritual support, help connect them with services, harm reduction supplies and education and Street outreach in the DTES.
The team consists of:
- Mental Health and Substance use Nurse
- Youth Care Worker
- Social Worker
- Indigenous Peer Advocate
