The Youth Urgent Response Team (YURT) provides short-term crisis, bridging and case management support to youth who are in crisis and/or not connected to other longer-term programs.

How to access

  • Check eligibility

    • Youth aged 12 to 19 years old who identify as in crisis
    • Residents of North Vancouver or West Vancouver
  • Get a referral

    Anyone who feels they meet these criteria can refer themselves or anyone they know to the YURT service. Call (604)230-0389 to refer.

Foundry North Shore

Foundry North Shore offers young people 12 to 24 access to mental health and substance use support, primary care, peer support and social services. Foundry North Shore is hosted by Vancouver Coastal Health and unites over 10 partner organizations working together to address the health care needs of youth ages 12 to 24 and their families living on the North Shore.
